Free Spirit Condors 2023 Cross Country Invitational
SANCTIONED BY: USATF Southern California Association
DATE/TIME: Sunday, October 8th 2023 at 9:15 a.m. Course walks at 8:40 a.m
LOCATION: Mt. San Antonio College Cross Country Course (Walnut, CA). Mt. SAC does not
allow dogs on the XC Course nor anywhere on campus (service dogs excepted). Please honor the
college rules, so you and your dog won’t have to watch from your car.
COURSE: Challenging dirt trail and asphalt course over various terrains including flat sections, rolling
hills and challenging steep hill sections. Copies of the course maps to be provided at a later date.
DIVISION & DISTANCE
- 8 yrs. & Under (born in 2015 or later) | 2,000 m
- 9 & 10 yrs. (born 2014 or 2013) | 3,000 m
- 11 & 12 yrs. (born 2012 or 2011) | 3,000 m
- 13 & 14 yrs. (born 2010 or 2009) | 4,000 m
- 15 – 18 yrs. (born 2008 thru 2011) | 5,000 m
- Open/Masters | 5,000 m
Open and Masters will run together PROMPTLY at 8:00 am. Medals will be given to the top 5 men and
women in the 19 and older as well as Masters athletes.
ENTRY FEES:
All youth athletes = $7.00
Open and Masters Athletes = $15.00

ENTRY FEES: ($7.00) per athlete and no team fee, ($3.00 late fee after 9/12/23 will be added to all athletes who register after 9/12/23) A team will consist of at least 3 athletes and a maximum of 5 athletes per team to be eligible for team award. A-Teams only – Limit 1 team per club.
AWARDS: Medals will be awarded to the top 8 individual places (At Finish line) Participant ribbon to the next 42 athletes (top 50 total). Team trophies will be awarded to the top 3 team (15-18 Top 2 team only) in each age division (5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, 15/18, 15-18 Top 2 team only) * All athletes must exit the finish chute to get their medal, medals will not be awarded if the athlete leave the finish chute without collecting their medal.

2023 USATF National Junior Olympic Championships – Southern California Association Youth Medalists
2023 USATF National Junior Olympic Championships, July 24-30, 2023, Hayward Field Eugene, OR
Southern California Association Youth athletes performed magnificently at the recent USATF Junior Olympics held in Eugene, Oregon. Our athletes took home 120 medals (49 Gold in 25 events, 42 Silver in 21 events and 29 Bronze in 17 events) while setting 2 National records and breaking a 314. Southern California Association dominated the meet with our athletes taking home 12.7% of the medals (120 of a possible 945) and taking 21.9% of the medal places (62 of a possible 283).
