The first-ever outdoor World Championships to be hosted on US soil will take place July 15-24 at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene, marking a major turning point for track and field in the U.S.

This USATF sanctioned meet (22-44-138421) serves as the 2022 USATF San Diego-Imperial Association
Championships as well as a USATF-Sanctioned All-Comers Meet for Youth (including High School),
Paralympic, Open and Masters athletes, even if they are not USATF members. However, to win a San
Diego-Imperial Association Championship medal, the athlete must be a member of the USATF San Diego-
Imperial Association.
